"We’re really glad you’re here, we don’t say that enough to each other here.” This is one of the lines from precious internet sensation, Kid President, in his YouTube address to newborns (Kid President's Letter To A Person On Their First Day Here). It’s an excellent reminder for us all to appreciate one another. As we live in community here at Woodstock Christian School we can all look for ways to encourage each other daily. Paul reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 5:11, "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” In the end of the video, Kid President reminds us "Love is always louder... Even if hate has a bull-horn, love is louder. So let your life be love.... Things can be better.” What a great reminder! As students, parents and teachers, let’s look for ways to live in faith, learning and community and search out how to encourage one another and spread love.
