In Grade 8 Bible, students have been learning about how Jesus used parables to connect His teachings to real life scenarios for the people he was teaching to.  The students in Grade 8 were challenged to modernize one of Jesus’ parables.  They had to use technology to communicate the parable they chose. Each group of students were given a school iPad and used iMovie to create their modern day parable.  Students were to read the biblical parable, create a modern day explanation for it, write a script, create props/set and record their video.  The following is an example of one group’s work.
